WordCamps are casual, locally organized conferences covering everything related to the free, open-source content management system known as WordPress. WordCamps come in all shapes and sizes but generally include sessions on how to use WordPress in personal and business applications, how to design WordPress-based websites and how to develop WordPress plugins and themes most efficiently without compromising website performance or security.
The 2013 Reno-Tahoe WordCamp will be held in the outstanding facilities of the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center of the University of Nevada-Reno.
We will be using the Knowledge Center First Floor, accessing the facility through the Tower Entrance on the southwest corner of the building.
WordCamp registration will be located in the area labeled Reception and Art Gallery. The first session of the morning (Opening Welcome and Keynote) will be in the Auditorium.
The Auditorium will also be the room used for one of the presentation tracks, while the other track presentations will be located in Classroom 107.
The Joe Crowley Student Union has a Food Court and will be the preferred facility for lunch.
