Chris Stanton is one of the three men behind the creative music that is known as Wayward Official. He is a pretty amazing guy on and off the stage. The first time that I saw them play in Reno, NV at the Knitting Factory, there was a certain energy in the crowd. You know that feeling. When you are seeing the band preform in their hometown with people they went to school with and follow their every move. Yeah, that feeling. Chris brought this energy that was amazing, for lack of a better word. After the show I walked up to the band and thanked them for playing. I mean after all, they do this for the love of their fans and music. I snapped a picture with Chris, Allen and Paul. They invited me to hang out with them after they loaded their gear into their cars. What an amazing group of guys.
I am from Reno, NV. Born and Raised. I attended high school there and I follow Reno Bands like crazy. I used to promote shows in Reno under the name “Infamous Promotions”. I never had the chance to book these guys, but I would of if given the chance. One of my all time favorite Reno bands is Ashton. A very close second is Wayward and then in third, but not least is SHE HAS A FASHION VICE.
